Community Services
CHISPA’s Community Programs
CHISPA offers onsite educational and recreational programs for the residents in our rental properties. We provide these through partnerships with local community organizations and individual instructors, including YMCA, Sol Treasures, Alisal Center for the Fine Arts, Arts Council for Monterey County, and Alliance on Aging. See our infographic of CHISPA’s Community Services demographics. Below is a list of some of our service providers.
Seasonal programs include youth soccer, softball, water sports, and summer day camps. The Big Sur Land Trust works with CHISPA to offer children field trips and camping opportunities.
Connecting Communities
CHISPA has also provided information in our COVID-19 Program Brochure about services available to residents impacted by the pandemic.
We welcome new community partnerships, and we encourage individual instructors and community service organizations to contact CHISPA with proposals on how we can work together.
To propose a community service partnership with CHISPA, to receive more information on special events and activities, or to be added to our mailing list, please contact the Communications and Community Engagement Director Ruth Rodriguez by e-mail or at (831) 757-6251, ext. 120.
